Interacting With Our Community

Fill the Boot — MDA Fundraiser

In the Fall, our firefighters hit the streets to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Every year, our firefighters have raised on average $13,000 from generous donors with all the proceeds going to MDA.

Operation Warm—Coats 4 Kids

Partnering with Operation Warm and our generous donors, we have been able to work with schools in our community to find children in need of a warm coat for the cold Montana winter. Since the winter of 2020, we have been able to get over 1,000 brand new warm coats to children in need!

Seattle Stairclimb — LLS Fundraiser

Each year, a L2457 team raises money to be able to compete in the Seattle Stairclimb against other fire department teams from across the nation in a race up the 69 flights of stairs of the Columbia Tower. All the money raised from the competition goes to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Our Team has placed in the Top 10 of team scores the last few years.
